Great old fashioned dinner/grill/bar! Old school at its best😁

This place having 4.4 star rating on Google is baffling. I went ahead and ordered the prime rib special and it was literally one of the toughest pieces of meat I've ever had. I felt like I needed an electric saw to cut through the steak. This was on Friday night with a packed house and noticed most patrons were over 65, which made more sense why the food was so bland. Definitely not coming back for anything else, rather eat at a black bear or Dennys to be quite honest.

We've been looking for a place to have breakfast before we get on lengthy flights to elsewhere in the country and I think we found it.Large, tasty portions combined with a wonderful wait staff made for a very pleasant experience. Both my wife and I enjoyed our time here along with the food.Fairly priced, as well.

Classic good tasting diner style food with a few extras in there. Good Bloody Mary's and Mimosas. A little on the pricey side, but with the large portions and a clean well kept building it's all worth it. The staff here is very nice and always smiling.

We love Elios but our aervice was very sliw on a Thursday night and our waitress was "new" and she needed assistance and help i felt bad for her . Weve veen here for over 30 years and love Elios

Big portions, very friendly service. Our bible study group had breakfast here, most of the group was impressed especially by our waitress Florence.

This site is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I I need a good meal, this place comes right away to my mind. very good and all kinds of food and a rich menu.helpful staff members, and nice spirit. Not less important, the expence is reasonable. I suggest this spot with no doubt.

Food is reliable. You always know what to expect. The quality of the food is good but the service could be better.

Good traditional family-owned diner.Hamburgers are very good, I've enjoyed the Reuben, the Tuna salad sandwich, and breakfast is fine also. Do not order the meatloaf, it was disappointing in some weird brown gravy. Service is generally very good.

My friend and I usually go to Elios after church on Sunday. We always have good service and the food is very good. My friend got me addicted to the lemon chicken rice soup which I end up getting any time we eat at Elios.

They have a short ribs special on Tuesdays. It comes with a choice of soup or salad, side of baked potato or spaghetti, vegetables and bread. $22. The portions are more than generous, enough for a second meal. Dinner/meal salads are large. Everything is tasty. The wait staff is friendly and attentive.

Toughest, most tasteless prime rib I have ever had. Made good soup with leftovers! Breakfast would be a better choice next time!

A favorite restaurant for many in San Leandro. Large servings of comfort food. Kids like the milk shakes and hot chocolate.

Been coming to Elios for 20 years and the food is excellent. Most importantly the staff are the best. Always friendly and on top of there service. Also, good place to chill and have cocktails.

Service was great!! Seated pretty quick "Father's day" which was nice!! The food was good, but the cook needs to learn what a well done steak is!! The experience could not be spoiled, to have my youngest son take me out to eat was the best!!!! 😎😎

Classic upscale diner. Good value for money - huge servings . My salad was excellent and my companion had a steak that was perfectly cooked, with leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Iced tea was good. Service was excellent. Desserts unimpressive but for us that's a good thing. Check it out!

All American classic staple! Great food, fabulous service, never empty, purely a reliable meal. Kind of like walking into a diner back in time- nostalgic and will always visit this place!

Took my parents out to lunch. My dad has always loved the food from Elios. We had a small wait time. We got seated fairly quickly. We had time to chat and look over the menu.. our waitress was kind and accommodating to us. She made sure to keep all the drinks full. Was a great experience. The price was a bit high but worth it.

We have been dining at Elio's for over 15 years. The quality, service and family friendly atmosphere has been unbelievably consistent. The pricing, quantity, and quality of their food has been wonderful. Try it out!

Food is very good to start. This place is been here for a long time, a few years back they gave this place some need it TLC...it's cozy and charming now. The staff is attentive and friendly.

Great service. Mediocre steak. How a rib eye is cooked tough is the great mystery.

I was in a hurry but they delivered a delicious breakfast steak with eggs and fruit in record time. Everything was made perfectly and price was reasonable

I came here many times, the breakfasts and dinner were ok. I came again, this is my first time order a steak with a lobster here .The lobster was very bad, it tastes like a rotten shrimp. I don't think it was worth it at all .

We came because the reviews were good but we're let down. The service was horrible. The waitress needs to get her act together. Left after the soup (which was good) . They did not charge us for soup and water and rootbeer.

Good food and atmosphere. Egg benedicts are a hit and miss. The poached eggs are sometimes overcooked.

Delicious food and wonderful service. Great place to go for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a huge menu with good variety, though I usually end up ordering breakfast no matter what time of day it is. The crab Benedict is my favorite!

My go to Everytime I'm in San Leandro for breakfast, they never fail me. One of the other reasons I miss San Leandro in the mornings.

First time here and it was very good!! Came on Friday 1-17-20 with my husband and sister n law who had been here before. We arrived at 5:45pm,it was somewhat crowded,but we got seated quickly and after putting our order in food arrived within 20 minutes. Minestrone and Clam Chowder were the soup of the day. I choose Minestrone and it had lots of vegetables and was very tasty. My main entree was the Prawn Fettuccine, huge prawns filled the bowl it had good flavor and was very creamy. My husband ordered a Greek Salad minus the feta cheese and enjoyed it. He really liked the feta dressing. He ordered pork chops and was very pleased with his meal.Overall decent prices, wonderful atmosphere. I will return again!!

Great food great service nice people

I stopped in for an early breakfast before dropping my car off for service nearby. I had the slam which was 2 eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes. Food was cooked to order, came fast and tasted good. Much too much for me to finish ! The decorations and personality of the restaurant was older school, don't see 'em looking this way anymore. I'll come back in about 20,000 miles when my car needs service again.

Ok so my wife and I decided to have breakfast somewhere in San Leandro we haven't experienced before and I decided on Elios. Some some reason we've never been here despite shopping in the area for years. The choice was about as good a decision as I have made on a very long time concerning places to dine. The food was simply fantastic. I had the omelet with burger meat and cheese and two absolutely delicious pancakes with hash browns. My wife fully enjoyed the chicken apple sausage with egg whites, hash browns and pancakes. We were thoroughly satisfied with not only the meal but the incredible attention to details as it pertains to service. The best we have had this year and will be coming back for dinner. Hope the service and food is exactly the same. Thanks a lot Elios.

Elios is a San Leandro staple spot for a yummy delicious cooked meal in a happy family environment. All the items I’ve sampled have been superb and reasonably priced!The beautiful culture who the family who manage Elios shares with their customers keeps bringing me back!
